I have read ADOW and I swear that at least subconsciously that Matthew is based Guy of Gisborne and Lucas North. I can't put my finger on my reasoning of this only that I feel in the pit of my stomach. Matthew's mortal son's name was LUCAS. Coincidence I hope. Or maybe Deborah Hawkins is a fan of Spooks/MI-5 and just borrowed the name, subconsciously that is. Wouldn't blame her.
