Welcome all to the fan forum for Richard Armitage. Guy of Gisborne, Lucas North, John Thornton, John Porter and Thorin Oakenshield will reside at the forum, as well as other miscellaneous items about Richard. And, for pure fun, there may even be a sub-board of miscellaneous topics. So enjoy yourselves and please bear with me as I try and get this board up and running.

I must make a confession, I am new to the world of Richard Armitage. Someone on twitter was talking about North and South and for me at that time the only North and South I had ever heard of was the miniseries back in the '80's with Patrick Swayze as Orry Main about the American Civil War. But I soon learned that North and South also pertains to an English television film that has Richard Armitage. It was from this that I begun my search about Richard Armitage and has become an adoration of him. Through this journey I have found other Richard Armitage lovers, for he is loved. I do hope some of you that love Richard will stop and join and help with the forum. I am no Armitage Army but I do hope to keep the spirit of the fans positive towards Richard.

Not only the tv mini-series, LoG, but also the novel 'North and South' by Elizabeth Gaskell, on which the drama is based. It was written about 1863. Richard said he fell in love with the book and referenced it often during the shooting of the tv series.

Oh by the way, if any of you have trouble getting an avatar or something like that let me know and I will do my best to help you. And if you want to start a new thread go to the page that has Subjects on it and go to the upper right, above where it says 'Last Post', and in the middle is New Thread. Click that and you can start a new subject of conversation. So I hope that will help any of you that may not know how to start a new subject.

Dearest Guests, In honor of Richard's birthday this week I am allowing you to reply to threads that have been started and to start a thread of your own. But like I said before it is going to be for this week only in honor of Richard. Rules stay the same, nothing abusive if so kindly please. I hope you will take advantage of this time, Lady of Gisborne

I can't believe I haven't been here since October. I really have let this forum fall by the way side, I do apologize. I'll try and do better.
